Book Review:the welkin weasles

Book review: The Welkin Weasels
A book by Garry kilworth

The Welkin Weasels is a fantasy book. It is sort of like the Hobbit except the characters are mostly woodland creatures. The character I know so far is Sylver, the main character,Prince Poynt, Falshed the sheriff, and a stoat/ weasel army. The story takes place in  an island that has been ruled by stoats, weasels (maybe ferrets), moving statues and other things since the humans left.

Sylver’s band of weasels are trying to find the humans because the wall keeping the sea away from the island was about to break. The wall is important to the creatures because if it weren't there, the island would be flooded. Then you would ask, “Why do they need the humans?”. The humans are the only ones who can fix the wall but Prince Poynt doesn't want the humans to come back because he will lose all his power and he will never taste the wonderful taste of cooked food again. They learned how to cook when the humans left.

My favourite part of the story is when the weasels caught Falshed, tied him to a pole, stuck it on a raft, and made him sail away. I would rate it nine years and over because it’s an incredible book with magic but not so much comedy. It’s a very good and I think everyone should read it.I would like to hear your say of the book.
